Alhamdulillah — it’s finally real.

After weeks (months, really) of thought, preparation, and a lot of sitting outside wondering if it would ever happen — The Goodly Tree Podcast is live.

It’s here.

It’s raw.

It’s real.

And honestly? It feels like the beginning of something special.

🎧 Listen now:

A boxed RØDE NT1 5th Generation studio condenser microphone sits on a wooden desk next to a computer monitor and headphones. The packaging highlights features like 32-bit float recording and dual USB/XLR connectivity, hinting at the recent launch of a professional podcast setup.
🎉 We’re live! The Goodly Tree Podcast has officially launched. This mic? Just the beginning of a journey to share stories that matter, reflections that resonate, and conversations rooted in purpose. 🌿🎙️ Alhamdulillah for every step.

Why The Goodly Tree?

The name isn’t random.

It comes from the Qur’an, where Allah describes a pure word — or pure faith — like a goodly tree:

“Its roots are firm and its branches reach the sky.”

(Surah Ibrahim, 14:24)

That image stuck with me for years from a friend in my past.

Strong roots.

A connection between earth and sky.

Steadiness when the winds come.

Growth that’s unseen underground before it’s ever visible to the world.

That’s the kind of life I want to live.

That’s the kind of journey I want to invite others into.

And that’s exactly what this podcast is about.

What You’ll Find on The Goodly Tree

This isn’t a “polished, big studio production” podcast.

It’s not full of perfectly edited interviews or viral gimmicks.

It’s personal.

It’s reflective.

It’s simple by design.

You’ll find me sharing thoughts on:

  • Islamic living (real-world, grounded, unapologetically)

  • Raising kids with purpose, not just schedules

  • Navigating the chaos of modern life while staying rooted

  • Personal lessons from off-grid life, business, tech, and family

  • Reflections that (hopefully) strengthen your own tree — your own foundation

Some episodes will be short.

Some will feel like sitting by the fire with an old friend, talking about life, mistakes, dreams, and du’as.

The Goodly Tree Podcast is officially in motion — recorded right here, one heartfelt episode at a time. May every word find a home in the heart. 🌿 #TheGoodlyTreePodcast #PodcastStudioVibes

Why Start a Podcast Now?

Because words matter.

Because our voices — honest, imperfect, striving — need to fill the world more than algorithms and noise do.

Because I realized that sometimes writing isn’t enough.

Sometimes, you need to hear someone’s voice. The pauses. The emotion. The imperfections.

And because deep down, I know I’m not alone in craving conversations that matter.

Not just news cycles.

Not just trend-chasing.

But roots.

Branches that reach higher.

Growth you can feel, even if no one else sees it.
