Off-Grid, Raising Six Kids, and Always Lea
Most people wake up to an alarm clock. I wake up to roosters and the hum of solar panels. Life out here isn’t always easy, but that’s the point. If we want something, we put in the work. And honestly? That’s the best lesson I could ever give my kids.
I have six of them, and we homeschool—actually, we unschool. No rigid curriculums. No forcing them to memorize things they’ll never use. Just learning the way it was meant to be—through curiosity, experience, and real challenges.
The Journey of Growth & Faith
One thing I’ve realized is that self-improvement isn’t about motivation—it’s about consistency. Whether it’s learning a new skill, deepening your understanding of Islam, or just becoming a better person, it’s all about daily effort.
Islam plays a huge role in my life. It reminds me that success isn’t just about money or status—it’s about what you do with what you’ve been given. Every blessing, every bit of knowledge, every skill—it’s all a trust.
And I take that seriously.
Work is Temporary. Character is Forever.
I run a business, but business isn’t the goal—life is. Too many people chase success in the wrong direction, thinking more money or more recognition will bring them peace. It won’t.
What actually matters?
Living in a way that pleases Allah.
Raising your kids to be strong, God fearing independent thinkers.
Investing in your own knowledge and character with the ultimate goal of going to Jannah.
Everything else? It comes and goes.
